About the Author

Kartic works as a Business Analyst for the Knowledge, Information and Data Applications at Santos Ltd, a multi-billion dollar energy company specialising in Oil and Gas sector. He takes responsibility for all system life cycle activities and assumes functional leadership for all IM topics. As there is a strong focus on the improvement of efficient business processes company-wide, his role as an experienced Business Analyst is to implement emerging technologies and has a genuine impact on Santos' business.

His role is to analyse and identify opportunities to improve business function, and progress these strategies through to proposal and implementation. His project management and strong IT management skills makes him accountable for the implementation of new versions, additional features, configuration and enhancements.

He has a vast experience of working as a Project Manager and Business Analyst with Australian Businesses and Information Management Consultancy. Helped in delivering many successful Information and Knowledge Management projects for various industry sectors like Oil and Gas, Transport & Logistics, Investment Managment, Construction, Project Management, Law and Accounting.

He is a certified PRINCE 2 Project Manager, certified in IT Services Management based on ITIL V3, MCTS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 – Configuration), holds a Masters degree in Business Systems from Monash University and a bachelors degree in Information Systems Engineering from MMU, Malaysia.
